Dr. Kola Akinsomi holds the position of Chief Economist of RealQuant Analytics Inc. Kola graduated with a PhD in Real Estate Finance at the National University of Singapore, a Master of Science in Real Estate at the National University of Singapore and a Bachelors Degree from The Oxford Center for Real Estate Management, Oxford Brookes University, England.

He is an Associate Professor of Real Estate Finance and Investments at the University of the Witwatersrand.

Kola has international exposure and experience and has lived and worked in Africa (Nigeria and South-Africa), Asia (Singapore and Japan) and Europe (England). He has also presented his real estate research ideas and papers in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australasia and Europe. Kola is the Vice-President of the African Real Estate Society and on the board of directors of the International Real Estate Society,  he is the Vice-Chair of the Future leaders of the American Real Estate Society (FLARES), he is on the board of six international real estate journals. Kola is passionate about real estate research and is a rated researcher by the National Research Foundation (NRF) of South Africa.
